Ariana Kong

Western Sydney University

Ariana is a PhD Student with the Centre for Oral Health Outcomes & Research Translation (COHORT), an interdisciplinary oral health research centre, at Western Sydney University in Australia. With an allied health background, she has provided support for a range of projects, especially projects involving health promotion and qualitative data among vulnerable populations. Ariana has worked for over six years in research. In the last few years, she has joined COHORT where she has contributed to the field of interdisciplinary oral health in the areas of maternity, paediatrics, stroke, palliative care, aged care and critical care. Her PhD focuses on working with Aboriginal Health Workers and local communities to develop and pilot test a maternal oral health training program.
