Masters Indigenous Social Policy

Graduate Diploma Teaching (secondary)

Prior to joining the NTPHN in November 2018 as the Health Literacy Officer, I had been a lecturer with Edith Cowan University (ECU) for approximately 12 months. Before that, I worked in the GP training space both with NTGPE and AMSANT and later with the RACGP.

I have had a background working in NT remote communities teaching, and in community development project management. I have also spent time in Canberra working in policy related positions, and lived and worked in Japan teaching English or 5 years. My professional passion is the educational advancement of Aboriginal people. I have always believed the key to better health outcomes is education, therefore I am very enthusiastic about the opportunity to work in the health literacy space.

In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family. I also love to travel and have been fortunate enough to see the world in my time off work. My end goal is to travel for work in a volunteer capacity if I am blessed with the opportunity.
