Tracy Reibel BA(Hons) PhD CF, is the Principal Research Fellow, Ngangk Yira Research Centre for Aboriginal Health and Social Equity, Murdoch University having previously spent 10 years as a Senior Research Fellow at Telethon Kids Institute. Tracy has over twenty five years of experience with developing models and systems of care which meet the diverse needs of women during pregnancy and childbirth. For the past decade, she has increasingly focussed her research on the translation of evidence towards improvements in the health outcomes and the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal women and their infants. This has included highlighting the need for culturally competent health professionals and health systems, and promoting policy changes which support flexible and culturally secure service delivery to Aboriginal women residing in diverse locations.
